Cee’s Fun Foto Challenge: Sepia Tones

4 horses, Etruscan Art Institute of Chicago

4 horses from the Etruscan Era
Art Institute of Chicago

On a recent trip to Chicago, I fell in love with these 4 miniature horses from the Etruscan era.  It was hard to believe they were thousands of years old, pre-dating the Roman Empire.  Even though the black and ochre paint is faded and chipped, the sculpture is still whimsical and charming.  Do you agree?
