Love and miss you all so much, especially around the 4th of July. That used to be so much fun coming to stay with The Moed’s for a long holiday weekend at the lake. Lets meet in NYC sometime this summer and go see a Yankee game, and then go see a play on Broadway!

I get this way too! I’m not doing enough unless I’m giving 110%. No wonder that I nearly burnt out in the first couple months of student teaching. I’m starting to learn that it’s all about balance, and no amount of “success” or “recognition” is worth it if it causes you to lose sight of the joy of the present moment.

Hi Diane! I wish “enough” was enough, but for some of us, a drive for something “more,” or “better” or “grander” takes over. It’s too bad, because we lose sight of the value of what’s closer to home and dear to our hearts. You’re much wiser for being very happy with “enough.”

Terrific observation…I’ve always been a person whose “enough” factor is full enough.
It must be much more difficult for those who need to switch. It just never dawned on me that fame was supposed to be a goal.
