Weekly Photo Challenge: The Golden Hour

What is the good of your stars and trees, your sunrise and the wind, if they do not enter into our daily lives? E. M. Forster

This week’s photo challenge is a reminder of the power of light.  It feeds us, energizes us, and inspires us.  Some of the longest winters I ever endured were in Detroit, with months of gloomy skies.  I have moved since then to places with intense and inspiring light.   But sometimes I get so caught up in my daily responsibilities and pressures that I forget to look up and appreciate the stunning spectacle of light and shadow right outside my window.  Here are a few moments when I paused to drink in the light.  These photos, taken in New Hampshire and Michigan, are moments that filled me with joy.

Do you like the light in one more than another?  Which one?   Why?  Thanks as always for your comments!
