WPC: Earth, Beautiful Earth

It’s tempting to focus on the ugliness in life.  There is certainly plenty of it.  But for this week’s “Earth” challenge, I chose a series of uplifting photos from our travels in Mexico, Canada, and Arizona.  These seascape and landscape vistas inspire me with their beauty and fill me with peaceful thoughts.  I am hoping they bring you the same tranquility.

  1. Hi Sally! It’s great to hear from you. Yes, they are inviting places that draw me back. I’m already thinking about our next trip to Mexico! Hope all’s well with you.

  2. Beautiful images Patti. Although I think I could be a street photographer which would bring me face-to-face with the ‘ugliness’, ‘reality’, or what not of earth, I’m much happier with the beauty of Nature. Great post!

  3. Stunning photos, Patti! Land’s End — that looks (and sounds) like the place to be!

By the way, do you follow the US Dept of the Interior on Instagram? They post beautiful photos from the national parks.

    • Hi Jackie. Many thanks for the compliments and the tip. I’ll check out the US Dept. of the Interior site. Sounds wonderful. We’re planning a national parks trip next year. 🙂

  4. Find myself comforted by anything outdoors. Your photos inspire me to keep my eyes open. It is all free for the looking and yet we buy ‘Disney World’ and cruises to nowhere. We ignore what we are meant to see and experience so we can spend millions on pretend.

  5. Hi Betty. It’s wonderful to hear from you! I’m not surprised you are comforted and inspired by the outdoors. 🙂 How many miles have we trekked together with you powering ahead and us trailing behind!!
