Monochrome Madness: The Splendor of the Met

For this week’s entry to Leanne Cole’s Monochrome Madness challenge, I offer you this shot of the Metropolitan Museum of Art, one of my favorite places in New York. I am a bit nostalgic this weekend, wishing I was in the city at a family celebration, instead of back in the frigid Midwest, where I am still working on getting healthy again.

  1. I just made a visit to the Met two weeks ago! (Even though I live in NYC, I don’t get there as often as I would like.) I went with the intention of seeing the paintings of the Hudson River School artists in the American Wing. Absolutely wonderful!

I hope you’re back on your feet soon. 🙂

  2. Hi, Jackie. Thanks for the get well wishes. 🙂 Isn’t the Met splendid? I think my favorite spot is still the roof garden. And the Temple of Dendur…And the Tiffany windows…How about you?
