Monochrome Madness: Paradise Lost

“This morning, with her, having coffee.”
– Johnny Cash, when asked for his definition of paradise.

Sad to Leave. Shot with a Canon 70 D.

I was there.  In paradise.  I left–reluctantly.  And now I’m back at work, drowning in deadlines.   Through it all, I often thought of you.  Regretfully.  I’ve missed you all and promise to catch up on your posts over the next few days.

Where do you think I was?  This photo is a clue.  It’s also next week’s submission to Leanne Cole’s marvelous Monochrome Madness.

Have a great week…no matter where you are!

  1. The photo is beautiful, yes after Michigan’s
    dreariness.
I kept thinking of Cash’s description of paradise. How nice to know that once with June, he was ever present in the moment and appreciated the small stuff. That touched my heart.
How nice to see you. I am hoping all is well.
Have a wonderful remainder of your Mother’s Day.

  2. Hi, Helena. Thanks so much for stopping by! It’s great to hear from you. Yes, Johnny’s love for June is legendary. I think her love transformed him and helped him become a better man and artist. 🙂 Hope all is well with you too.
