Lens-Artists Weekly Photo Challenge: #17 Just For Fun

Fun is good. ~Dr. Seuss

For this week’s Lens-Artists Photo Challenge, it’s my turn to choose the theme.  Halloween is just around the corner, so I figured it was time for a little photography fun.

Let’s start with the portrait of Sir Lab, an elegant breed with a fine pedigree.

People rarely succeed unless they have fun in what they are doing.~Dale Carnegie
Here’s a little candy fun, just in time for Halloween.  The new interactive Candytopia experience has just opened near Madison Square Garden in New York.  Can I get any volunteers to come with me?

I am going to keep having fun every day I have left, because there is no other way of life. You just have to decide whether you are a Tigger or an Eeyore. ~Randy Pausch

The owners of this dog-friendly shop in Amherst, Massachusetts clearly have their favorite customers.

You gotta have fun.~Derek Jeter
The Summer Exhibition at the Royal Academy of Art is a tradition in London.  This eclectic exhibit has included more than 1,500 works of art.  Here are a few of my favorites from the show this year.  This first installation is great political satire.

When you have confidence, you can have a lot of fun. And when you have fun, you can do amazing things.~Joe Namath

I love the irreverence in this work:
