Lens-Artists Photo Challenge #41: Delicious

First we eat, then we do everything else.― M.F.K. Fisher

Are you one of those people who remembers every great meal you’ve ever had?  Do you spend your vacation planning where you’re going for dinner while you’re still eating breakfast?  Do you watch cooking shows on TV or try new recipes?  Are you food-obsessed like me?

This week, here’s your chance to explore what “Delicious” means to you.

To get you started, I’d like to share some memorable delicious moments.

Stopping for A Cappuccino Near Port Arthur

I loved the dusting of chocolate on my cappuccino in this quaint shop near Port Arthur filled with antiques and Australian memorabilia.

Window Shopping

Our apartment in Santa Croce is ideally located near to the Santa Croce Market and next door to an amazing pastry shop and a gelato place.  I think we should have a pastry (or two) in honor of my husband’s birthday, don’t you?

Dreaming About Roscioli’s in Rome

The pizza at Roscioli’s was as good as it looks.  I liked the one with pesto as much as the one with the traditional red sauce.  I’m ready to go back for more!

Lemons Any Which Way

Have you ever seen lemons this big?  Their taste is fantastic too.  Give me anything with lemons–especially lemon ricotta ravioli–a great taste.

Chocolate with Just About Everything

The same is true for chocolate.  It’s one of my favorite ways to start the day–with a cup of English Breakfast tea.

This week, for Lens-Artists Photo Challenge #41 share what “Delicious” means to you.  We look forward to seeing your entries. Please tag them with “Lens-Artists” so that we can all find them in the Reader. Next week, the very talented Ann-Christine will host Lens-Artists Photo challenge #42.

As I wrap up this post, I’d like to note your great responses to Tina’s “Something Different” challenge last week.

    • You’re right, Jo! I was thinking of your marvelous photos of your sweet “rewards” on your Monday walks. I’m sure we’ll meet at some point. After all, we both love taking long walks and sweets! Thanks too for the kind words about the Lens-Artists! We all appreciate that.

  1. WordPress won’t let me ‘like’ this post or a random selection of your new or old posts, yet it lets me comment. I’ve found this occurring on random WordPress sites recently. Anyone else having this problem???
