WPC: Expecting the Unexpected in Florence

If you do not expect the unexpected you will not find it, for it is not to be reached by search or trail.~Heraclitus
In its finest moments, traveling is a gift that can surprise and delight us.  During our adventures this year, we have spotted these little gifts that startle us, make us smile, and even laugh.  These gifts become part of our travel narratives.  I also welcome them because they can spark ideas that are woven into my creative projects.

I’d like to share some of these unlikely treasures from Florence–shot primarily on the fly with my Google Pixel 2 phone.

    • Isn’t that interesting, Jackie…that we both look at the same thing. Thanks so much for your kind words! I hope all’s well with you. Hope it’s sunny and warm in NYC!

  1. What finds! I was wanting more fantastic door knockers which would send me into a fantasy land of the doors and the worlds beyond those doors. They must be spectacular if the knockers are any indication.
